Code of Conduct

1. Principle

The AI-free Label stands for creative works that are produced without the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI). It aims to create transparency and strengthen trust in human-made content. By using the label, the creator commits to following the rules outlined below.

2. Definition of “AI-free”

AI-free means:

Texts:
No use of Large Language Models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) or other AI text generators to create or substantially edit the work.

Images/Illustrations:
No use of generative image AI such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, or similar systems.

Video/Audio:
No AI-generated sequences, voices, music tracks, or deepfakes.
 

3. Permitted Tools (Technical Aids)

The use of classical, non-generative tools is explicitly allowed. This includes in particular:

Image editing:
Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One (including noise reduction, color correction, retouching).

Video editing:
Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut (including cutting, color grading, stabilization).

Audio editing:
Audacity, Logic Pro, Pro Tools (including equalizers, noise suppression, effects).

Automations:
Technical filters, presets, autocorrections that rely on statistical methods but do not create new generative content.
 

4. Grey Areas & Boundaries

Not allowed:
Generative functions within editing software (e.g., “Generative Fill” in Photoshop, AI-based object creation, AI-generated backgrounds).

Allowed:
Technical optimizations that improve existing material but do not “invent” new content.
 

5. Self-Commitment & Transparency

Each user confirms, when applying for the label, that the submitted works comply with the above criteria. False or misleading statements may result in the withdrawal of the label. The label may only be used in connection with content that is truly AI-free.
 

6. Verification & Trust

Random spot checks may be carried out. The community has the opportunity to report violations anonymously. The goal is not to “police,” but to foster a trust-based environment.
 

7. Intellectual Property

The label serves to protect and value human-created content. Copyright remains at all times with the respective creators.
